In 2010 the cost of car hire rose sharply but this year it seems to have levelled off again. As with most things do go to several companies to get a quote. It actually works out cheaper booking your car in the UK through Economy Car Hire (especially through our web site) than booking direct in Spain when you arrive at the airport. We used them - our car was dented when we left it parked overnight and we were covered and had no problems. No huge credit card deduction months later! Your car will be waiting for you on arrival at Alicante airport.
